LICENSES AND PERMITS
Q: Is M&H licensed?
A: Yes, we are a Class A Cottage Food License Business in San Diego, CA and hold a seller's permit. CFO Registration Number: DEH2021-FCFO-001024
ORDERING
Q: Does M&H ship products?
A: No, we do not ship products. Products are currently only available for pick-up at our home bakery in Escondido or local delivery in San Diego County.
Q: Can I place an order over the phone or through e-mail for pick-up or delivery?
A: Yes! However, the best (and quickest) way to place an order is through our website. All pick-up and delivery dates/times shown on our site are accurate and up to date. However if you have a time sensitive request, please contact us via phone or email and we'd be happy to assist you. Rush fees may apply for quick turnarounds. Note our normal hours may change at any time due to high volume orders.
Q: Does M&H sell single quantity items?
A: As a home-based business we currently only sell single quantity items at our weekly farmers markets and weekend pop-up events. Follow us @milkandhoneysdca on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated with us about our upcoming events and locations. In addition, check out our Events page to see where we will be next.
Q: Does M&H accept same-day orders?
A: No. Because we receive a large volume of orders each day, we request that all regular menu items be ordered at least 2 business days in advance and custom orders be placed at least 2 weeks in advance via our online ordering system. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call or email us. Note: We're closed Sundays and Mondays.
Q: Can I include a personalized message with my order?
A: Yes, you may choose to include a personalized message for your order during checkout. Cakes may have concise messages written on top in frosting while other desserts require a chocolate plaque. You may also purchase a personalized note to be handwritten on Milk & Honey stationery a la carte.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Q: Does M&H make custom orders?
A: Yes, please see our Custom page for more info and general pricing to get started.
Q: Does M&H accept custom orders under the 2 week policy deadline?
A: In most cases, no. In order to give each order the time and attention it deserves, we tend to adhere to our 2 week deadline. Please feel free to reach out to us to see if we can accommodate your request with an understanding that custom orders take much time and planning to fulfill. Rush fees will apply if we are able to accommodate a late order.
PAYMENT
Q: Do I need to pre-pay?
A: Yes, we kindly ask for all payment in advance through our website or email invoice (if applicable).
Q: Do you accept deposits to hold dates?
A: Only catering orders over $350 are eligible for a 50% deposit to reserve the date. All other orders must have the full balance paid to secure order.
